Steps

Set the design subject in advance.

List artifacts whose names start with each letter from A to Z, along with human behaviors and desires associated with using them.

Extract new design elements that support the behaviors or satisfy the desires described in Step 1 for the design subject.
Tips & Tricks
The Alphabet System is more effective when performed individually rather than in large groups
Instead of the alphabet, you can also use the Japanese hiragana syllabary for similar ideation.
