Steps

Determine the target product in advance and gather 6 members.

Assign one perspective to each member. The six perspectives are: objective, intuitive, positive, negative, innovative, and holistic.

Generate ideas from the assigned perspective for the theme.
Tips & Tricks
The Six Hats Method can be performed by one person by switching between perspectives (1 person playing 6 roles).
